The machine fleet includes 51 injection molding machines
The production facility operates 51 injection molding machines equipped with robots. Their clamping force ranges from 50 to 1,050 tons. This allows Frilux to manufacture plastic parts weighing from 0.5 to 2,220 grams. The available capacity supports the production of both small technical components and larger parts used in industrial equipment.
Frilux also uses 2K injection molding and overmolding technologies. The first method makes it possible to combine two different materials or colors during a single production cycle. The second involves applying an additional layer of plastic to an existing component. These solutions are used when parts require increased durability, flexibility or specific functional properties.
The manufacturing process is supported by four pad printing machines. This technology allows markings and decorative elements to be applied to products with complex or irregular shapes. It can be used for housings, buttons and other components with small or difficult-to-reach surfaces.
More than 166 million components produced in 2021
The scale of Frilux operations is reflected in its production figures. In 2021 alone, the facility converted plastic resin into more than 166 million finished components. The production process focused on maintaining repeatable dimensions and technical parameters required by OEM customers.
Injection molding tool maintenance is another important part of the company’s operations. Frilux performs regular mold servicing, preventive maintenance and repairs. These activities help reduce premature tool wear. They also support production continuity, stable product quality and on-time deliveries.
Artilux NMF provides infrastructure for large manufacturing projects
Artilux NMF was established in 2002. The Swedish-Lithuanian capital company specializes in lighting and electronics engineering, manufacturing and industrial component production. It operates approximately 18,000 square meters of production space and employs more than 330 people.
Artilux NMF reported revenue of EUR 33.2 million in 2023. Its technical infrastructure, engineering expertise and extensive machinery enable the group to manage projects involving large production volumes, quality control and cooperation with European OEM customers.
The continued development of injection molding, automation and tool maintenance remains one of the key areas of Frilux activity. The company combines serial production with process planning, material selection and quality control of finished plastic components.
